Myocardial Solutions, Inc. (“MSI”) announced today that Randy Hill, former CEO of most recently, VasoDiagnostics and Siemens Healthcare, has joined its board of directors. “Randy’s extensive experience in the medical imaging diagnostic industry, as well as his background in sales and marketing, uniquely qualifies him to help MSI strategically position its cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) technology for cardiac stress testing,” said John Funkhouser, CEO of Myocardial Solutions, Inc. Mr. Hill is currently a director of VasoHealthcare, which has an exclusive agreement with GE Healthcare to distribute select medical imaging products to specific market segments in the continental United States. Additionally, Mr. Hill was Chairman of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA), the industry association that represents over 90% of the global market for medical imaging technology. Funkhouser went on to say, “It’s a great honor to welcome Randy, a well respected industry leader, to our board and be able to call on his deep industry knowledge and experience.”
I am very impressed with MSI’s innovative SENC technology and its capability to invigorate the potential of CMR by providing, almost real time, quantitative cardiac stress testing results to enable physician decision-making. Myocardial’s strain testing technology is well validated, fast, easy to use and accurate. Thus, it should offer a very competitive alternative to cardiac nuclear stress testing, said Mr. Hill.
About Myocardial Solutions, Inc. The Company was founded in January of 2016 to commercialize software applications for fast processing of CMR imaging with objective quantified results. The corporate goal is to create wide adoption of CMR diagnostics for better informed clinical decisions.
The Company’s SENC technology is not presently FDA cleared, and has not been commercialized.
