MyoStrain Transforms
Cardiac Stress Testing

With Speed, Accuracy, Safety, and Ease

MyoStrain Measures Changes in Heart Function to Detect Coronary Artery Disease

Most cardiac catheterizations are unnecessary because of poor diagnostics [12]

96% Sensitivity
88% Specificity [13]

15 minute procedure time

No contrast agent, no radiation exposure

Patient Experience

Short scan time, no breath hold, low risk

With diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, MyoStrain may improve decision making and reduce unnecessary procedures, potentially improving patient experiences and reducing healthcare costs.

How MyoStrain's Stress Test Works

15 Minute Exam, 6 Heartbeat Scan, 37 Region Analysis,
1 Quantitative Diagnostic Report

2 Minutes

Technician positions patient in MRI.

5 Minutes

No patient breath-hold, contrast agent, or exposure to radiation required.

2 Minutes

Technician administers dose of stress agent.

3 Minutes

No patient breath-hold, contrast agent, or exposure to radiation required.

3 Minutes

A quantified report including full analysis of global and regional strain is generated and sent to the referring physician.

Stress Test Report

With near real-time processing, MyoStrain reports are comprehensive,
and show changes in heart function to identify potential ischemia

MyoStrain Cardiac Stress Testing Report
  1. Rest: MyoStrain’s stress test begins with a quantitative evaluation of resting heart function.
  1. Stress: MyoStrain metrics at an elevated heart rate show differences in heart function that can help detect areas that are receiving inadequate blood flow due to coronary artery disease.
  1. Change: Comparing the two tests, MyoStrain provides a clear and concise report to help aid physicians’ treatment decisions by identifying areas of likely ischemia in suspected coronary artery disease patients.
  1. Ischemia and Viability: Red areas on the MyoStrain stress test comparison indicate likely decreased blood flow (or ischemia) from possible coronary artery disease. MyoStrain stress tests also can indicate viable heart tissue where blood flow improves under stress, as seen in blue.

Myocardial Solutions' technology has been used globally in over 70 major medical research centers and is established as the gold standard for strain measurement. The research has yielded over 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals (50 articles from Circulation and JACC alone) that validate CMR strain testing. MyoStrain’s predecessor software (HARP & VIRTUE) have 510(k) clearance and CE Mark certification.
MyoStrain has CE mark certification, and Myocardial Solutions is actively pursuing FDA 510(k) clearance for MyoStrain.
